Our Story
Bare Hands Workshop is led by designer, self-taught woodworker, seasoned builder, and licensed contractor Brandon Cook whose work bridges engineering precision and artistic restraint. With a background in technical engineering, construction management, home building, and audio system design, he brings structural intelligence and technical fluency to every project. Years of hands-on building experience inform a disciplined approach to materials, joinery, and proportion.
Brandon's path through technical design and creation shapes a studio philosophy grounded in integrity. Every piece begins with an understanding of structure, physics, and longevity. Materials are selected for both character and performance. Proportion is deliberate and details are exacting.
Today, the studio focuses on refined, design-driven work that integrates seamlessly. Whether a singular statement piece or a fully integrated architectural installation, each commission is approached with clarity, restraint, and respect for the space it inhabits.
